Harrington Community Pool

Your poolside oasis awaits!

Our community offers two pools conveniently located at 500 Whittier St. The large pool has swim lanes and the smaller pool has a large baja shelf, perfect for little swimmers! Both pools are ADA accessible. 

Our pool season is May 16 through September 27.*
Our pool hours are 9am to 9pm or dusk, whichever occurs first.

We also have community fire pits available year-round, see below for more information!

*The 2025 pool season ended effective September 14, 2025. See you next summer!

Pool Rules:

General

1. The pool is for the exclusive use of resident members of the Homeowners Association and their guests.
2. The pool has a FOB system, one per household, which operates the pool gate.
3. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK – NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. 

Guest Regulations

1. Pool members are requested to limit guests to no more than 4 per household. Guests should be limited to overnight guests and baby-sitters accompanying a family.
2. All guests MUST be accompanied by a resident Homeowner. A Homeowner who has had their pool privileges revoked cannot be a guest of a Homeowner in good standing. 

Safety and Health

1. Children under 14 years of age must be accompanied by a person(s) age 16 or older.
2. All bathers must shower before entering the pool. Bathers are asked to remove all sun tan lotions/oil before entering the pool.
3. No glass containers of any kind are allowed in the pool area.
4. There will be no running, pushing, wrestling, snapping of towels or causing undue disturbance about the pool or cabana areas. Anyone found disturbing the “quiet enjoyment” (foul language, horseplay, loud or profane music, boisterous activity, etc.) of other residents will be asked to leave the pool.
5. No solo swimming is allowed.
6. Only one person is allowed on the ladder at a time.
7. All diapered infants must wear proper swimming attire.
8. Persons entering the pool must wear proper swimming attire.
9. No food is allowed within six feet of the pool. Proper trash containers should be used.
10. No pets or animals are permitted within the fenced pool area.
11. Persons with open wounds or skin rashes will not be permitted in the pool.
12. Swimmers are requested to remove all loose objects before going into the pool; this includes pins, jewelry, ID bracelets, hair clips, etc.
13. Pool toys and flotation devices should not be used if the pool is crowded. No hard balls such as footballs, soccer balls, basketballs, ect are allowed in the pool or pool area.
14. Any individual reliant on a flotation device for their safety must be accompanied by a guardian in the water at all times.
15. No smoking is allowed within the fenced pool area.
16. No spitting or blowing nose in the pool.
17. Persons with diarrheal illness or nausea should not enter the pool.
18. Persons with skin, eye, ear, respiratory infections, or communicable diseases should not enter the pool.
19. During electrical storms, the pool must be evacuated. Re-entry should not occur until at least 30 minutes after the storm has ended. 

Pool Property

1. It is requested that all resident members and guests protect the pool facilities, property and pool house. Homeowners and guests will be held financially responsible for any property they damage.
2. All damage, issues, or feedback about the property should be reported to HOA Management at (864) 277-4507, or via email at admin@infoHOA.com (with your address in the subject line).
3. Only authorized personnel are permitted in the pump storage room.

Miscellaneous

1. Please drive slowly and carefully in the Harrington HOA pool parking area. All  vehicles and bicycles shall be parked in designated areas.
2. Bicycles are not permitted in the pool area.
3. The Homeowners Association, Property Manager and the Pool Management Company are not responsible for the loss or damage to personal property and are not liable for any injuries sustained on or within the Harrington pool area or any common areas.
4. Each person using the pool is required to help keep the pool area clean, neat and orderly.
5. If you are the last person leaving the area, please make sure the gate is locked and the umbrellas down.
6. Per SCDHEC regulations, the pool gate door must be closed/locked at all times. Do not prop the gate open.

Harrington HOA reserves the right to revoke any homeowner’s/household’s access to the pool for misuse or non-compliance with community pool rules. Damage to pool property will be billed to the responsible homeowner and will result in suspension of all pool privileges for the entire household. Anyone found in violation of these rules will have their access suspended for 1 week for the first offense, 2 weeks for the second offence, and for the rest of the season for a third offense. Anyone found granting access to persons without a working pool FOB will be suspended for the rest of the pool season. 

Harrington Cabana

Rent the community cabana for your next gathering!

Our beautiful cabana area has an outdoor fireplace and plenty of tables to host your family and friends! The cabana and the restrooms are available year-round, even if the pool is not in season.

Fire Pits
We have several wood-burning fire pits adjacent to our cabana available for residents and their guests to use. Reservations are not required and the fire pits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. When using our fire pits, please observe the rules listed here.

Residents found to be in violation of these rules will be subject to additional charges for cleaning or restoration, and may have their access to the pool and cabana area revoked.
  • All fires must be monitored by an adult, 18 or older, at all times. At no point may a fire be left unsupervised.
  • A Harrington Resident must be present at all times.
  • Residents are responsible for bringing all necessary supplies, including:
    Fire starting tools/matches
    Firewood
    Fire tending tools
    Water to extinguish the fire
    Skewers or other roasting tools
    Trash bag
    Additional seating (we have some chairs available but they are limited in number)
  • Residents may not burn any garbage, or anything made of plastic, glass, or metal.
  • NO GLASS of any kind is allowed.
  • Residents must dispose of all trash in a proper trash can.
  • No music or excessive noise after 10:00pm.
  • In case of emergency, call 911. The cabana address is 500 Whittier St, Greenville, SC 29605.
